![Steinbach, Manitoba got hit with a ton of rain this morning. The Winnipeg Free Press reports that Steinbach got 3 inches of rain in one hour, overwhelming the city’s pumping stations. At the end of it all, 80mm of rain was measured in the city centre. The sudden downpour flooded many streets, turning them into mini rivers. Many basements were also flooded. One of those basements belonged to my cousin, who wound up being interviewed by the CBC for the 6pm Winnipeg news.
