This isn't a commercial/profit blog, I do not make any money from this blog. I post photographs I like and am inspired by to show to my followers, in the hopes that they like them and are inspired by them as well. I do not wish to profit or gain from posting others' works.

Photograph by Eddie O’Bryan
Camera: Hasselblad 501CM
Film: Kodak Tri-X
From the photographer:
Just prior to this shot, a police officer drove up and rolled down his window to ask if his tire tracks would have a negative impact on my shot. After I told him yes, he nodded, put his car in reverse, and went the opposite direction. His courtesy and respect had a profound effect on me, and I still hold it close to this day.
The winters in New York City are brutal. This was photographed a few blocks away from where I used to live. My Hasselblad completely froze shortly after taking this picture!
I originally found this image on Google images while searching for a good image to use for my 700th post (which is this.) This image came up in the results, but it linked back to a tumblr blog which didn’t credit the image. I looked up the image in tineye and it linked to this page which was showcasing photos of New York [some of which are really good], and the photographer had — I guess — submitted it to be posted. I clicked on the photographers name which took me to his website where I found more info on the photo!
So much researching for just one post! But thats the photographer part of me. I know I would want the same done for my images :P
