Life On Apollo?

A few years ago I decided to answer the long-asked question “what would happen if you synced Apollo launch footage with David Bowie’s ‘Life on Mars?’

Don’t you even try to deny it, because I know you’ve asked question that at least once in your life.

You haven’t? Oh..

Well, anyway, it turns out it looks pretty neat.

The original version of the video was cut back in 2011. This one, posted here, is a re-cut I made this month. The old version didn’t flow in certain spots, so I decided to touch it up a bit. The 16mm launch footage is a mixture of the Apollo 8, 11, and 12 missions.

Watch for volume at the start, and be sure to full screen it!

WABCDEFG News: Pacino On A Cell Phone

WABCDEFG Logo - Wide

The number of alternate takes Jayden and I recorded for our WABCDEFG News radio piece is mind-boggling. With the extra time I’ve had lately, I’ve been digging through old files to find stuff to post here.

I managed to find Jayden’s original read of the “Talking While On A Cell Phone” segment, which in the final piece was voiced by me. He decided to channel Al Pacino, as you can hear in the clip below.

Here is how the piece sounded in the final mix.
